It's something different. You can make everyone's favorites and not overdose them on sugar! I love this product and the other mold shapes that go along with it. FabulousTime to update my review. I am in the process, as I write this, of baking my first Pie Pops. And I've learned a few things. First, putting the top of the pie pop on and pressing the seams together while it is in the base is not only tough to do, it's unnecessary. Just place the top on the bottom portion that you have filled with your favorite pie filling (along with the stick) and press it on lightly with your finger. Turn the mold over and push the pie pop out (you'll need to encourage it by lifting up the edges... gently). Then, with your fingers, press the seams together, especially around the stick. When they come out the oven, even when they're cool, the stick will pull straight out if it is not sealed with the crust. The other really important issue is... So, now, I have to try and figure out the right recipes and how to use this thing on my own. Maybe when I get recipes and directions it will be great, but until then, it's just sitting in the cupboard as a waste of money... |
